It’s Christmas Jumper Day for Rays Of Sunshine
Who’s ready for a Christmas fundraiser? We are!
Last time we talked about Rays of Sunshine, a charity that grants wishes to children in the UK living with a serious or life-limiting illness, we managed to raise a spectacular £376.20 during our fun-filled fundraising day. So, with Christmas just around the corner, we’re getting into the spirit of things with our first ever Christmas Jumper Charity Day on 21st December, and you can join in too!
We’ve got a few favourites returning from our fundraising day.
We’ll once again be bringing in scrumptious snacks for the cake sale and fabulous prizes for the raffle, all to raise money for a superb charity. The hotly contested ping-pong tournament is also making its triumphant return. Everyone’s been practicing. Can our last champion, Luke Foster, keep hold of his title? Or will a new contender paddle their way (I’m so sorry) up the rankings?
We’ve got new events too.
New for our Christmas Jumper Charity Day is the Best Christmas Jumper Competition. Just how ugly, flashy or silly are we willing to go for the grand prize? Probably about as willing as we’ll be to get sweet, sweet revenge on our managers as we get to pie them in the face, but don’t worry, we all get on really.
We’re sure it’ll all be a blast.
And it’s all in aid of a tremendous cause, brightening up the lives of critically ill children by giving them the wondrous once-in-a-lifetime experiences they’ve always dreamed of having, and you can help right alongside us. Just send us your best Christmas Jumper selfie on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #FuseXmas and for every photo we receive our bosses will donate an extra £2 to charity on top of the promise they made to triple whatever we make on the day itself! So let’s all make Christmas just that little bit extra special for the many children living with serious and life limiting illness!
